Basingstoke Neighbourcare is delighted to announce a new partnership with Citizens Advice Basingstoke, made possible through government funding from the DWP Household Support Fund.
This partnership aims to make free, confidential, and impartial advice more accessible by bringing Citizens Advice services directly into trusted local community settings.
Citizens Advice will be working alongside Basingstoke Neighbourcare at two venues: Hill Rise Hall Café in Brighton Hill and the Community Hub at Popley Fields Community Centre.

By offering advice in familiar and welcoming spaces, the partnership helps residents seek support in a relaxed, informal environment while staying connected to their local community.
Basingstoke Citizens Advice is an independent local charity supporting people across Basingstoke and Deane and surrounding areas.
Its trained advisers offer guidance on a wide range of issues, including benefits, housing, work, debt and money, consumer issues, family matters, law and courts, immigration and health.
Whether someone is facing a sudden change in circumstances or needs help understanding their options, Citizens Advice is there to provide practical support and reassurance.
At Hill Rise Hall Café, a Citizens Advice adviser will attend on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, between 10am and 12pm.
The café runs every Wednesday morning and provides a friendly place to meet friends, enjoy light snacks, and relax with a hot drink.
A popular offer includes a bacon roll and a cuppa for just £2.
During advice sessions, a private room will be available to ensure confidential one-to-one support.
The next session will take place on February 11, with visits continuing until May 27.
At the Community Hub at Popley Fields, Citizens Advice will attend every first and third Thursday of the month, from 10am to 2pm, with sessions running until June 4.
The Community Hub offers a variety of activities and services, including a hot, home-cooked two-course meal for £5, volunteer-led IT support, affordable toenail cutting (booking required), and a weekly pay-as-you-go exercise class.
This partnership strengthens local support networks and helps ensure that residents can access vital advice alongside social activities, meals, and opportunities to connect with others.
