A CHILDREN's television star turned on the Christmas lights in Tadley.
Star of CBBC's Raven and The Anvil's Christmas production of Aladdin, James Mackenzie, officially launched Christmas in Tadley by switching on the lights on Friday, November 28.

Mr Mackenzie, who is playing Abanazar in the panto, was joined by West End star Lotte Bennett, who is playing Spirit of the Ring.
They delighted the crowd as they switched on the Christmas Lights at the Christmas Tree festivities in Tadley.
Tadley parish chairman and councillor, Avril Burdett, and Kit Malthouse MP, joined the panto stars on stage to push the button as they turned on the lights. The compere for the evening was Cllr David Leeks.
The crowds enjoyed food, treats and crafts at the Christmas market in the Ambrose Allen Centre, and carol singing with Burnham Copse School Choir on stage, plus Elsa and The Grinch and the Sing Now Choir provided joyous entertainment.
