A royal visit marked the 40th anniversary of a dedicated advice centre.
The Princess Royal joined Kit Malthouse MP in Tadley to celebrate four decades of service by Citizens Advice Tadley & District, recognising the centre’s long-standing support for the community.
The event was also attended by the Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, along with other local councillors.

Mr Malthouse said: "It was an honour to take part in the Citizen’s Advice Tadley & District’s 40th anniversary celebrations, in attendance with Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal.
"For four decades, the dedicated team at Citizen’s Advice has been a lifeline for local people — offering free and confidential advice on everything from housing and employment to debt and benefits.
"Their work helps residents navigate difficult times and strengthens our community.
"I’m grateful to the staff and volunteers who give their time and expertise so generously to support those in need."
