A team of volunteers has been praised for their work to improve a primary school’s outdoor space.
The group from AWE spent five days at Tadley Primary School, working alongside the school’s caretaker to carry out a range of improvements under the company’s Time to Give scheme.
The project involved weeding, hedge trimming, planting and repairing equipment, as well as building a new performance stage and mud kitchen.

AWE volunteer Jess Moulder said: "We had such a fantastic time supporting the local school.
"Everyone was in such high spirits to be able to make incredible changes.
"It has been so rewarding for the team."
During a school assembly, staff and pupils thanked the volunteers with handwritten cards from each class and shared stories about how the new equipment has been used.
Each of the volunteers had personal connections to the school, including as former pupils, parents or friends of school staff.
The work saved the school thousands of pounds.
AWE’s Time to Give scheme encourages employees to apply for special leave to support their local communities.
