Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (HIOW) is hosting a meet-and-greet with governors.

The event is open to all staff, patients and carers, providing a platform to share views and learn more about the trust.

The drop-in session is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9.

Attendees can meet governors, including lead governor Suzanne Pepper.

They can also learn about the HIOW board's five-year plan and the NHS 10-year strategy.

The trust emphasises the importance of patient and carer feedback in shaping services.

Two locations will host the event: Parklands House, Basingstoke, from 11am to 3pm, and Parklands Hospital from 3.30pm to 7pm.

Attendees can learn about the benefits of trust membership, which is free and can be obtained on the day.

The trust encourages participation for effective representation at the Council of Governors, a key part of NHS corporate governance and independent public oversight.

For those unable to attend but wishing to ask questions, the trust invites emails to Corporate.Governance@southernhealth.nhs.uk.

The trust looks forward to engaging with its community, aiming to shape the future of its services effectively.
