Crochet display pays homage to Jane Austen at The Vyne

A display of crocheted and knitted pieces, inspired by Jane Austen and the Regency era, is currently on show in the Old Kitchen at the National Trust property The Vyne.

The project marks the 250th anniversary of Austen's birth and features colourful pieces made by the public and hobby groups.

The hand-crafted pieces fill the historic kitchen with character and creativity, celebrating both Austen’s influence and the talent of her modern-day supporters.
