This year’s panto from the Kingsclere Players promises festive cheer with fun characters, laughter and a talking horse.
The story, Babes in the Woods and Robin Hood, unfolds as King Ricky leaves for a crusade, placing his brother John in charge of England and his children.
King John, not fond of children, collaborates with the sheriff, who devises a cunning plan to get rid of them.
However, the sheriff wants Maid Marion’s hand in marriage in return.
Set around the village of Kingsclere, the arrival of Robin Hood adds an unexpected twist.
