Our monthly jazz session at Theale, to which we attract quite a few from around these parts, at our last performance I joked with our followers, having seen the clamour for tickets for the reappearance of Oasis, our charge of ten pounds admission might need serious revising.
We could now be somewhat undervalued.
But then, listening to some recordings of our efforts from a few years back my vocals were more than acceptable.
Having now been on inhalers for a year or two, keeping my breathing allowing me to continue performing but certainly not with the quality of old, time can have a disastrous effect.
One wonders how Oasis can come back from the past to justify the vast ticket prices - voices age and things just don't stay the same!
Just another small point. Stage performances depend on musical and physical harmony and not having been actually on speaking terms for many years one wonders which sides of the stage they will stand!
