RESIDENTS will be transported back to the 1970s as a roller disco will be held in Basingstoke this weekend.
The event will see both adults and children alike don their skates to cruise around Basingstoke Sports Centre in Festival Place on Sunday, October 6.
Open to all ages, although those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, the disco will see participants try their hand at skating under the bright flashing lights of a disco ball.

Attendees can either bring their own skates; inlines, which have their wheels in a straight line, or quads, which have four wheels, two in the front and two in the back, or they can hire a pair.
The event will be run by the Newbury-based company Roller Kings, which offers mobile roller disco experiences for parties, festivals, events and more.
The events company holds events across the South of England, including in Didcot, Henley, Thatcham, Wallingford and Leatherhead.
In a post made on Facebook, the company said they are 'excited' to bring the roller disco to Basingstoke.
The session will last an hour and a quarter and can be booked at £8.99 per participant here
