Basingstoke man, 27, charged with shoplifting from Iceland in Festival Place
A Basingstoke man has been charged with shoplifting at an Iceland shop in Basingstoke.
George Pattinson, 27, of Castle Road, Basingstoke, has been charged with theft from a shop and failing to comply with a community protection notice.
It comes after officers received reports that food items worth £30 were stolen from Iceland in Festival Place on Monday (September 16).
Officers swiftly responded to the call and made an arrest at around 3pm.
Pattinson is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday (September 17).
