THREE dogs have been seized from a man after reports of a hare coursing incident in Oakley.
Police were called to Pack Lane on Monday, September 9 by a Tadley resident to a report of suspected hare coursing.
Hare coursing, which sets two running dogs on a brown hare, competing to chase, catch and kill the hare, was made illegal in the 2004 Hunting Act.

Officers located two dead hares near Pack Lane, seizing three dogs. The man was detained by police and will be interviewed by officers at a later date.
A statement from police on social media reads: "Three dogs have been seized after a hare coursing incident near Oakley, Basingstoke.
"A male will be interviewed at a later date. Two dead hares were located. My thanks to the member of the public who reported it. Also thanks to Basingstoke Rural Cops. PC 23206 Stanbrook."
