THE Theale Village Hall jazz sessions are set for a treat with Ben Cummings and his wife, Lizzie Newberry.
Cummings, who supported Kenny Ball on trumpet for three years, is astonishingly similar to Ball and carries much of his repertoire.
The event, taking place in Englefield Road, Theale, will kick off at 12noon on September 3.
Remarkably, during Cummings' previous visit to Theale, his performance commanded a standing ovation.

Progressing from that acclaimed performance, his next visit is anticipated to be an even greater attraction.
Cummings will not be hitting the stage by himself.
Alongside him will be his wife, Lizzie Newberry, an acclaimed entertainer in her own right.
The organisers have hinted at the possibility of the event selling out quickly.
Admissions are fairly priced at £10, and guests are reminded to bring along snacks and refreshments as no bar service will be provided at the venue.
As Acker Bilk, a good friend of the regular jazz band leader, Graeme Hewitt, would say, "Stand by your bed with your boots in your hand - this is going to be special."
