A DUBAI-based fried chicken chain is opening a shop in Basingstoke next month.
ChicKing, which has been opening new branches across the UK, will launch its Basingstoke outlet inside the Post Office unit next to the Premier store in Popley.
The takeaway will offer both spicy and non-spicy options to cater to all tastes.
ChicKing already boasts branches in London, Slough, Stoke on Trent, Preston, Wednesbury, West Bromwich, Birmingham and Croydon.

The Basingstoke outlet is expected to open in July, before the schools close for the summer holidays.
It will be run by local caterers Maheh P Nair and Jaison Joseph in partnership with the Post Office operator Jass Singh. The trio aims to become a 'go-to spot for delicious fried chicken'.
Mr Nair and Mr Joseph also provide catering services from a unit based in Houndsmill.
"We're absolutely thrilled to be bringing ChicKing to Basingstoke," said Mr Nair.
"It's a fantastic town with a real community feel, and we can't wait to share our delicious fried chicken with everyone. Having catered in Houndsmill for some time now, we know there's a real demand for high-quality takeaway, and we're confident ChicKing will be a hit.
"We've been passionate about bringing something new and exciting to Basingstoke for a while, and ChicKing's unique flavours are sure to attract people. We can't wait to open our doors and become a regular spot for locals to grab a tasty and convenient meal."
The new takeaway will be open from 11.30am to 10pm, seven days a week.
