BASINGSTOKE & North Hants cricketer, George Metzger, received a seven-match ban from the ECB Southern Premier League.
Not playing competitively until early August is the repercussion.
This comes on the heels of a Level 4 disciplinary charge during a two-wicket win at Lymington on June 8.
This isn't Mr Metzger's first ban; the SPL banned him for five games in 2021.
An additional three-match ban, suspended for two years until July 2026, is his predicament.
His ban commenced when Basingstoke played Havant at May's Bounty on June 12.
In other news, Lymington's Rob Hemmings received a two-match suspension and will not feature in matches against Havant and the Hampshire Academy.
Basingstoke player, Brad Neal, completed a single-match ban on June 12.
