A BASINGSTOKE company has been named as one of the country's innovative green businesses.
InstaVolt scooped the Fast-Track Company of the Year Award at the UK Green Business Awards in London.
InstaVolt demonstrated its commitment to more sustainable business practices, winning the recognition.
Simon Smith, InstaVolt’s, chief commercial officer, who accepted the award on behalf of the company, said: "We are thrilled to accept the award at the UK Green Business Awards which celebrate the best of the country’s green economy."

InstaVolt currently heads the UK’s electric vehicle charge point rollout, delivering reliable, contactless charging.
The company has ambitious global plans, intending to install 11,000 ultra rapid chargers across the UK and Ireland; 5,000 throughout Spain and Portugal; and over 300 in Iceland.
Mr Smith added: "It’s fantastic to be recognised for our dedicated approach to sustainability and for the hard work of our team at InstaVolt. We’re installing record numbers of chargers, with more than 1480 live chargers and another 400 in build. We are also installing chargers at a faster rate than any other charge point operator."
Its goal is to set the world benchmark for reliable and user-friendly electric vehicle charging. The UK Green Business Awards took place at The Brewery in Farringdon, London.
The event congregated over 600 leading executives, investors, business leaders and campaigners.
The gala ceremony spotlighted and celebrated the UK’s best green businesses, projects, and initiatives.
