Basingstoke-based InstaVolt has made changes to its senior leadership team amid announcing its top position in a prestigious growth index.

Ms Kerr, coming from her role as Brand Director at Cinch, brought onboard presenter Rylan Clark which contributed to Cinch becoming the UK’s fastest-growing direct-to-consumer online car buying brand.

Meanwhile, Mr Sherrard, with nearly 20 years in the energy industry, joins from net zero provider eEnergy, where he generated an 87 per cent growth in revenue.

The company, with 120 full-time employees, plans to install 11,000 ultra rapid chargers in the UK and Ireland, adding to its global portfolio of chargers in Spain, Portugal, and Iceland.

Ms Kerr said: "I am delighted to have joined the team at such a pivotal time for EVs and charging. Without doubt we’re at the tipping point of EVs becoming the norm and I want to make sure that InstaVolt is the first name consumers think about when it comes to charging their cars on the go."

Mr Sherrard said: "InstaVolt has the best reputation in its field and it’s incredibly exciting to join at this stage when there is so much momentum.

"I’ve spent much of my career in supporting sustainable energy endeavours, as well as being a car nut. This is the perfect fit."
