DRIVERS have been experiencing delays on Hackwood Road after traffic lights were installed to control traffic during work to upgrade the gas network.
SGN installed multi-way traffic lights just past the Hackwood Road Roundabout on the A339 on May 13 and expects the controls to be in place until June 26.

It warns drivers to expect delays in the area during this period while it carries out work to upgrade the gas network nearby to ensure homes and businesses have a “continued safe and reliable gas supply for many years to come”.
The work began on April 8 and will finish on August 26.
