Thousands flocked to War Memorial Park to enjoy this year's Basingstoke Festival of Transport.

The event, organised by the Rotary Club of Basingstoke and Deane, was blessed with warm sunshine and clear skies on Sunday, May 19.

As usual, it was free to the public and attracted more than 850 vehicles, with 70 trade and charity stalls and food available.

A wide selection of vehicles will take to the park, from vintage pre-war vehicles to modern classics, bikes and scooters and small commercial lorries including the locally built Thornycroft Nippy.

A range of commercial and military vehicles, service vehicles, buses, coaches and a selection of static engines were also at the event.
