A BRAVE fan asked a daring question to Aquaman star Jason Momoa at Basingstoke Comic Con.

The woman in question was one of the lucky few to be given the microphone during the question and answer session which featured the Hawaiian actor.

She immediately took the chance to shoot her shot, saying: "Are you currently single? Which I speak for a lot of women there."

Sadly for her, Momoa's response probably wasn't the one she expected. "I am very much in a relationship," he replied.

Jokingly, the woman said: "And what relationship is that? With who may I ask? We might be at the bar afterwards if you want to give us some more information on that."

Momoa appeared as a headline guest at the Basingstoke Comic Con on Saturday, May 11, at the Hampshire Court Hotel in Chineham.

The event was attended by thousands of people who came from far and wide to meet their favourite celebrities from popular culture.

Famous faces who appeared on the day included Evanna Lynch from Harry Potter, Kristian Nairn from Game of Thrones and Rhys Darby from Our Flag Means Death and Jumanji.
