THOUSANDS of people across the world have descended on Basingstoke as the Comic Con is in full swing this weekend, May 10, 11 and 12.
From pirates to wizards, X-Men to Joker's, the convention saw fans arrive in elaborate costumes, paying homage to their favourite characters.
Here are some of the best costumes we saw on May 11.

Appearing at the event is headliner Richard Dean Anderson, known for playing secret agent MacGyver in the 1980s TV show of the same name, along with Richard Armitage, who gained international recognition for his portrayal as Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit.
Also at the convention is Aquaman star, Jason Momoa, as well as actors from Our Flag Means Death, Harry Potter, Stargate and Supernatural.
