International flamenco company, Mi Flamenco, is to launch its UK tour, Echoes, in Basingstoke.
The debut will take place at The Haymarket on June 9. The multimedia production is designed to be immersive, combining evocative film imagery, emotive dance, and soul-stirring music and voice.
It weaves together personal reflections of Spain and the power of flamenco to provide a unique cultural experience. Leading the creative team is Southwest's producer and dancer, Ester Tal.
She's joined by flamenco dancer Tomas Arroquero and her partner Uri Tal, providing the original music. Internet sensation Nick Squires and gypsy singer Luis Vargas Monge round off the team.
Tickets are available from the Anvil Arts box office at £22.50 or £19.50 for under 25s, booking fees included.
