THIS amazing photo shows lightning striking Basingstoke town centre.
Photographer Jordy Gillard snapped the shot on Thursday, May 2 from the multi-storey at the top of New Road.

Using a Nikon D5500 + 35mm, Jordy was able to capture the moment lightning bolts fizzled through the sky over Festival Place and the Churchill Way flats during the thunderstorm that night.
