After an encouraging performance last Saturday, Hartley Wintney went down to a heavy loss against second-placed Marlow. The win confirms the Blues a play-off place for the second successive year.

Marlow dominated from the start and got the breakthrough on 18 minutes. A move down the left saw the ball arrive at Dawid Rogalski. The prolific Marlow striker wrong-footed a couple of Row defenders before shooting home from 12 yards,  (0-1)

Hartley had their first attempt on 21 minutes when an effort from the right wing by Mo Jallow saw Aaron Watkins well positioned to save.

The second period saw the Blues in the ascendancy for the most part. On 53 minutes the lead was extended when a corner from Curtis on the left was headed home by Benjamin Mulley. (0-2)

The Hartley goal came under a lot of pressure and it was no surprise when Marlow increased the lead.  A good move down the right on 58 minutes saw the ball crossed to Joshua Boorn who scored from close range. (0-3)

Marlow added a fourth goal on 75 minutes when Dawid Rogalski converted a cross from Nawaf on 75 minutes. (0-4)

Hartley had a chance of a consolation goal on  79 minutes when Jallow’s through pass found Chengun who shot over the bar.
