DURING a weekend patrol in the Brighton Hill area of Basingstoke police dealt with fly-tipping and dog fouling offences.
Basingstoke Cops took to Facebook to share the news with residents on Saturday, April 13.
Hampshire Constabulary officers were patrolling the area, which they say has previously seen problems of anti-social behaviour and drug dealing.

The post reads: "Today PSCO 15950 DOHERTY and PC 23164 GELDARD went out on a joint foot patrol with our new CSPO Peter BERRY who joined in January. We were in Brighton Hill and you can see where we patrolled. These area’s have previously been problem areas for ASB and Drug Dealing.
"But today we only had to deal with some more minor offences of fly tipping and dog fouling. Not the crimes of the century but certainly two of the hot topics that have been fed back to us during the recent ‘Let Talk’ Survey's."

The post continues: "We are planning on making these joint patrols a regular occurrence so if you didn’t see us out and about this time hopefully you will next time."
