EASTER Monday at a care home in Basingstoke saw staff enjoy an Easter egg hunt.

Oak Lodge, in Rectory Road, invited its team, from hospitality to housekeeping, care, and activities, to look for hidden chocolate treats and vouchers.

The home said there was a "lovely" atmosphere as the staff members gathered the treats in their arms and aprons.

Home manager Grace Adan said: "At Oak Lodge we like go above and beyond to ensure the team feels valued and appreciated, and our yearly Easter egg hunt is one of the many diverse ways we deliver this, it’s so much fun and is always very well attended."

The home continues to maintain an 'outstanding' rating from the Care Quality Commission.

A home spokesperson said: "This is supported by the hard work and dedication of the equally ‘outstanding’ team, which is led by home manager, Grace Adan."
