THE full list of candidates vying for the votes of Basingstoke and Deane residents has been revealed.

On Thursday, May 2, the borough will go to the polls as residents will vote and choose their new councillors in this year’s elections.

In this year’s election, there are a total of 18 seats up for grabs, with one seat to be won in each ward.

This year there will be one seat up for election for the police and crime commissioner for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight police area.

After polling day, the election count and results will take place on Friday, May 3.
