A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of a drugs offence after officers pulled over a car in Popley.
At around 5pm on Wednesday, March 20, officers pulled over a vehicle in Carpenters Down, Popley, finding a number of bags containing white powder in the vehicle, as well as cash, which was seized for further enquiries.
The driver, an 18-year-old man from London, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a drug of Class A, and two driving offences.

He has since been released on conditional police bail until Friday, June 21 while officers carry out further enquiries.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We will continue our efforts to target those involved in the supply of drugs.
"Our ask of communities is to continue to let us know if you have any information about drugs supply.
"You may not see an immediate police deployment, but any information you provide will help us work behind the scenes to build up the bigger picture and take the appropriate action.
