A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of a drugs offence following a proactive stop in Basingstoke.
At around 1.30pm on Saturday, March 9, officers spotted the driver of a black Vauxhall Antara acting suspiciously in Goodman Close.
Officers searched the vehicle and found bags of suspected Class A drugs and more than £1,100 in cash.
A 22-year-old man from Hounslow was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug and acquiring / using / possessing criminal property.
He has been bailed with conditions while enquiries continue.
