SERIOUS injuries were reported following a crash in Basingstoke involving a police car, which resulted in a busy road being closed for hours.
As previously reported, Winchester Road was closed just after 2.21pm on Tuesday, February 27 while emergency services, including fire, police and ambulance, dealt with the incident involving a white Nissan Leaf and a marked police car.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said minor and serious injuries were reported following the crash.
Police have been asked for further information.
