AROUND 60 cars gathered at another car meet in a Basingstoke supermarket car park leading to reports of anti-social and dangerous driving.

Hampshire Constabulary officers were called at 7.42pm on Sunday, February 18 to a report of the incident at the Asda car park in Brighton Hill.

It was reported that some cars were being used in an anti-social manner. Officers attended the scene and the cars dispersed.

Later that evening, police were alerted to cars gathering at the Leisure Park and Chineham Shopping Centre with dangerous driving being reported at both locations.

A Hampshire Constabulary police spokesperson said: "Officers launched an investigation and have gathered footage and evidence from both locations and are looking to take action against two drivers.

"Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries and are now appealing to the public for help, specifically in relation to the unauthorised car meet at Asda.

"Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness any anti-social or dangerous driving? Do you have any dashcam footage or CCTV images that may assist our investigation?"
