A DRIVER is due in court next week following reports of drifting at a car meet in Basingstoke last year.
Police received reports that cars had gathered at an unauthorised car meet on Stroudley Road on Friday, August 11 2023.
Officers launched an investigation, gathering CCTV images from local businesses, and working with Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council to gather evidence on the man.

Police have alleged that a motorist in a blue BMW was drifting on the road and driving in a dangerous manner.
Jack Coyne, 29, of Church Road, Ewell, Surrey, will face a charge of driving a motor vehicle dangerously at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on February 20 following postal requisition.
