A man in Aldershot has been arrested on suspicion of a drugs offence following a proactive stop.
Officers stopped a car on St Michael's Road on Saturday, February 3. A man exited the vehicle and officers ensued on a short foot chase, finding bags of Class B drugs.
A 35-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B and suspicion of using a motor vehicle on a road without third-party insurance.
The man was detained on Pound Road and has been released under investigation while Hampshire Constabulary carries out its inquiries.
