A BASINGSTOKE man has been arrested on suspicion of a drugs offence following a proactive stop by police.
Officers stopped a Mini Cooper on Popley Way on Thursday, February 1 and found suspected Class A and B drugs, phones and cash.
A 26-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.
He remains in custody while enquiries continue.
