TEAM members from a Basingstoke-based construction group have raised an incredible £23,286.20 for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

Throughout 2023, staff from The Champion Group took part in a mammoth cycling challenge, golf day, fire walk and abseil; dress down days, sweepstakes and clothes recycling schemes all for the air ambulance.

The group built upon a year of incredible community support by announcing that, due to the overwhelming engagement and response to the charity, they will continue to support the air ambulance in 2024.

The charity's support engagement officer, Lucy Butcher, said: “Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance is absolutely over the moon to be chosen by The Champion Group once again. We have seen such remarkable commitment from the team in not only their efforts to raise funds, but also raise awareness of the vital work that we do. We look forward to seeing what they get up to in 2024 – with lots of exciting plans coming soon.”
