With the volume of new houses now built, and still being built, I can't see how, especially in rush hour and during school runs, the old Brighton Hill roundabout could have coped.
Something had to be done. I have now got used to the new roundabout, and find it easier to get around than Black Dam roundabout.
Drivers just need to exercise care, and go slow, it's definitely not one to speed up to try and beat the red light.
I also like the idea that the underpass has been done away with, but I'm not a pedestrian or cyclist who would use it so I will leave that feedback to someone who is.
