Letter: 'Where were the Conservatives when Buckskin flooded in 2014?'

The Independents/Lib Dems have only been in power for eight months, and you are moaning about what they haven't done yet. Well, I find that rather difficult to stomach seeing that the Conservatives were in power for some years in Basingstoke before. 

Where were you all when bungalows and houses in Buckskin were flooded in 2014 with sewage and groundwater? All you did was stand and have your photo taken for the press. 

You never once came to our doors to ask what was needed. It was Labour, Independents, Liberals that came to give their help. 

The people of Basingstoke are sick of the Conservatives and their promises. They want to see reliable councillors that's why they have voted for Independents/Lib Dems. They are there for the people of our borough.
