A BASINGSTOKE man has been charged after a teenager was assaulted in town.
Jordan House, 23, of Merton Road, Basingstoke, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
It comes after officers received a report that an 18-year-old man was assaulted on Oakridge Road at approximately 11.05pm on Friday, December 29.
The victim sustained significant facial injuries including a broken orbital bone. He was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
House is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday, January 9.
