OVER £1,000 was raised for two good causes through an evening of line dancing in Basingstoke last month.
Booted Out Line Dancing Club held its Christmas party in Aldworth School hall on Friday, December 15, with 85 members attending.
The evening raised £1,200 which was divided between Breast Cancer Care UK and The Alzheimer's Society.

A club spokesperson said: “These funds were raised through the sale of party tickets, donations and the sale of raffle tickets for 38 hampers which were very kindly donated by the club members. A great evening of line dancing and fun was had by everyone who attended.”
Organisers thanked everyone who helped make the charity party a success.
