MAGISTRATES have ordered a Basingstoke resident to complete unpaid work after a man was assaulted.
Lorcan Loughrey, of Homesteads Road, on Saturday, December 31 last year assaulted a man in Basingstoke.
During a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, November 28, Loughrey was sentenced for the offence.

The 35-year-old pleaded not guilty on Monday, April 17 but was found guilty on Monday, October 2.
Magistrates ordered 40 hours of unpaid work to be completed.
Court costs of £620 and a surcharge fee of £114 must also be paid.
