DRIVERS in and around Basingstoke and Deane will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M3, from 9pm December 9 2020 to 6am December 2 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 10, slip road closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme.

And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M3, from 10pm November 27 to 6am November 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 6, slip road and lane closure for technology work.

• M3, from 8pm November 28 to 6am November 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 6 to junction 5, Lane closure for carriageway reconstruction works.

• A303, from 8pm November 30 to 6am December 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Micheldever to Overton, Lane closure for signage works.

• A303, from 8pm December 4 to 6am December 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 7, entry slip road and lane closure for drainage works, diversion route via National Highways Network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
