A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
Police were called just after 8pm on Thursday, November 16, to reports of a male who had reportedly been seen carrying a hammer at a pub in Bramley.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 8.15pm last night (November 16) with reports of a drunk man threatening people with a hammer outside The Bramley Inn.

"Police attended and arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
"He remains in custody at this time."
