A BASINGSTOKE man who assaulted another man has been ordered to pay compensation to his victim.
Liam Masburg, of Bach Close, attacked the man on Saturday, February 2, in Basingstoke.
The 20-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence during a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 6.
Masburg was ordered to pay court costs of £85 and compensation of £100.
The court register stated: “Compensation only is an appropriate disposal as the defendant is of previous good character, and has accepted he made an error on this occasion.”
