Careless driver who caused serious injury is disqualified for 12 months
A CARELESS driver who caused serious injury to a man in Basingstoke has been disqualified for 12 months.
Gordon Macdonald, of Elmwood Way, caused serious injury to a person, in Roman Road, while driving without due care and attention on November 30, 2022.
The 55-year-old indicated a guilty plea during a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, October 5, this year.
At the same court on Friday, November 3, Macdonald was also fined £384 and ordered to pay £85 court costs, along with a £154 victim surcharge.
