A MAN in his 70s was pushed to the ground after someone tried to break into his house.
There was an attempted burglary in Lundy Close, Basingstoke, between 7.45pm and 8.15pm on Friday, November 10.
The resident of the house, a man in his 70s, was pushed over by three men when he went to see what was going on, suffering a cut to his face which required hospital treatment.
Nothing was stolen and the group then left in a vehicle in the direction of Shetland Road.

Officers are now appealing to the public for more information.
Basingstoke Police posted on Facebook, on Sunday, November 12: “Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything that looked out of place or suspicious.
“Perhaps you live in the area and have Ring Doorbell or CCTV footage that may assist our enquiries? Or maybe you were driving through the area and have dash cam footage?
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting reference 44230460835. Alternatively, go online and submit information via https://orlo.uk/CPAR4.”
