A TADLEY man has been fined hundreds of pounds after he sent a message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing nature.

Daryl Robins, of Hythe Close, sent the message to a person on Sunday, December 4, 2022. He admitted the offence during a hearing at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, June 1.

The 31-year-old was sentenced at the same court on Friday, October 27.

Magistrates ordered Robins to pay a fine of £650 and court costs of £85.

A further charge of assault by beating was discontinued.
