Hampshire is set to be hit by a bout of heavy rain and flooding in the next two days, the Met Office has warned.
A yellow weather alert has been issued for the city and other parts of Hampshire.
The alert will be in force today, October 24, until around midnight on Wednesday, October 25.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Rain, heavy at times, is likely to cause some flooding and disruption in a few places on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
“Scattered showers will become more frequent and increasingly organised into a longer spell of rain through Tuesday evening before gradually clearing eastward during Wednesday morning.
“15-25 mm of rain is expected fairly widely but there is a chance that 50-60 mm could fall in a few places; these higher accumulations more likely across east Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey and west Kent.

What to expect
The Met Office says spray and flooding on roads may make journey times longer and may affect bus and train services in the city.
Flooding of a few homes and businesses is also likely.
Tonight, cloud and outbreaks of heavy rain will roll eastwards to affect all of Hampshire by midnight. Some of this rain may turn thundery.
Wednesday is starting cloudy with showers and rain, affecting much of the region, dying out and generally clearing eastwards. Turning brighter by the afternoon with some sunshine in places.
