Three more people have been arrested following a violent incident in Odiham, where one individual was reportedly seen with a firearm.

The incident, which involved a man sustaining a head injury believed to be caused by a crowbar, happened on Sunday 8 October, with police called to the scene at 3.15pm.

On Thursday, October 12, a 21-year-old man from Wokingham was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and violent disorder. He has been bailed conditionally until 12 January 2024.

Previously, a 40-year-old man from Odiham was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, theft of a motor vehicle, aggravated vehicle taking and affray on 11 October.

A 25-year-old man from Odiham was also arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, grievous bodily harm with intent and affray. Both men have been bailed until 8 January 2024.

Following an investigation, on Monday, October 9, a 25-year-old man from Odiham and a 33-year-old man from Reading were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. The men have since been bailed until 11 January 2024.

Officers investigating the incident believe all the parties involved are known to each other.

Police remained at the scene on Monday, October 9 and are appealing for information and dashcam footage following the public order incident.

Police want to hear from motorists who were driving on the A287 Farnham Road near Odiham at about this time.
