A TRADITIONAL pub that offers real ales has said it will be closing but it is still open for business at the moment, the Gazette understands.
The 'family friendly' Fullers-chain pub had been open under owners Mark and Sarah Burton-Pye since May 25, 2019.
A statement posted on the pub's social media page on Friday, September 15 read: "Just to let you all know tonight is probably our last night trading so if you are at a loose end it would be great to see."
Despite the post, the Gazette understands the pub is still open on Saturday, September 16.

Customers have shared their sadness that the landlords will be moving on underneath the Facebook post.
One person said: "We really appreciate the efforts you made and in particular the friendliness and welcome whenever we visited the Fox."
Another added: "So sorry to hear you're leaving... thank you so much for all of your support. Wishing you all the best."
Mark and Sarah will not be moving on to run a different pub and they are unsure if new owners will take over the Fox.
Leading up to the closure, the Fox Inn posted a string of announcements stating it would not be opening due to plumbing issues and unforeseen circumstances.
The Fox Inn has been contacted for more information.
