TADLEY karting sensation Trevelyan Sansom continues to blaze a trail in the world of motorsport, securing back-to-back wins in the Honda 200 cadet class of the UK IKR championship.

Building on his triumph at the renowned Whilton Mill Kart Circuit, 12-year-old Trevelyan once again showcased his exceptional skill and determination at the Fulbeck Kart circuit during Round 6 of the championship.

The path to victory was not without its hurdles. Trevelyan experienced a mix of results in the heats, finishing second in the first heat, facing a penalty that placed him sixth in the second heat, and securing second once again in the third heat.

He started the final race in second position, alongside his Team WIN//R teammate.

The final race was nothing short of exhilarating, with drama unfolding on every lap.

A red flag after two laps forced organisers to reform the grid, shuffling Trevelyan back to sixth place after a challenging start. However, his tenacity and precision driving skills quickly propelled him through the field.

With each passing lap, Trevelyan relentlessly closed the gap between him and the frontrunners and found himself in third place within two laps.

As the leaders navigated through a slower backmarker, Trevelyan seized the moment.

He executed a daring manoeuvre, overtaking his teammate on the exit of a chicane and then engaging in a breathtaking battle for first place. He snatched the lead at the next hairpin, propelling himself into a position to seize victory.

As the final lap approached, Trevelyan's lead grew to a nail-biting 0.8 seconds, securing an unexpected yet glorious triumph. The victory also marked another 1-2 finish for Team WIN//R, with Trevelyan and his teammate Sebastian Burlington continuing their impressive partnership.
