TWO roads in Basingstoke will see closures this month as they are scheduled for upcoming patching works.

Residents and businesses are advised to plan their routes accordingly as Hampshire County Council has released details regarding planned road closures.

Penrith Road is set to undergo patching works, with road closures in effect from Monday, July 24, for three days.

Roman Road in Worting will be closed for patching works starting on Wednesday, July 26, for four days.

The roads will be closed each day during the period from 8am to 4pm on weekdays, but it will be open outside of these hours.

The council said that access for residents and businesses will be maintained whenever possible, ensuring minimal impact on their daily activities.

Pedestrian access to properties will not be affected, and emergency vehicles will have continuous access throughout the works.
